All bears designed and hand stitched by Artist: Ian Williams

 In 2005, All handmade bear lovers and Teddy's were invited to a Picnic along the sandy beaches of the Great Kei River to celebrate the birth of a new artist, Chiane Bears, who would make bears as fine themselves, with soft Mohair fur, jointed limbs, hand stitched to perfection. With glass eyes and hand stitched noses to smell the great volumes of honey, that would flow in future picnics along the banks of the Great Kei river where fish were a plenty for the Teddy's to catch. 

All the new born bears would be slightly different, with no two bears the same. Some with short fur, some with long fur, some with curly hair, others with straight hair, some hair would be light and others dark.  Some bears would be soft and cuddly while others are little stiffer, some a little heavier than others, stuffed with polyfibre or with polyfibre and plastic beads.  But no matter their difference’s, they would be part of the Rainbow Nation, and be able to love and cherish each other and be able to live in harmony, and enjoy other Teddies company at any picnic, anywhere.

Some of these bears would be able to share these delights with their adopted parents, others would be orphans, wanting to be adopted into good homes with caring parents.  Parents that would love them and care for them.
